About

Hi, I’m Rosie, the voice behind The Unseen Me. In March 2020, I contracted COVID-19. What followed wasn’t just a long recovery—it was the start of an entirely new reality. I’ve since been living with Long Covid and sarcoidosis, two invisible illnesses that manifest daily in chronic pain, debilitating fatigue, and cognitive challenges. These symptoms eventually forced me to stop working—and to reimagine life beyond productivity, timelines, and external validation.

This blog is a fresh beginning. It’s a space for reflection, advocacy, and connection. It’s for me—but it’s also for everyone navigating the complexities of invisible disabilities. I write to bring visibility to what so many endure in silence, to offer information, spark awareness, and—hopefully—build a community where empathy takes the lead.

We don’t always get to choose what reshapes our lives. But we do get to choose what we make of it. The Unseen Me is my way of making good out of something difficult.
